During her pregnancy, Rachel Landford kept seeing the numbers seven and 11. She didn’t realize this was foreshadowing. A 7-Eleven baby was on the way.
Landford gave birth to J’amie Brown inside a Missouri 7-Eleven at 7:11 p.m. on the evening of July 11 (7/11). The baby’s weight? Of course it was seven pounds and 11 ounces.
“I thought it was weird at first, and I didn’t know that (the numbers) meant so much,” Landford said in an interview with CNN. “A lot of the times (during the pregnancy) I would look at the clock and it was 7:11.”
The convenience store chain celebrates this day by giving out free slurpees. Landford already has a 6-year-old son, plans to tell the chain about her new daughter’s timely birth.

Not everyone gets to celebrate their baby with a free slurpee.
